Museum of Graffiti
Directed marketing and strategic partnerships for Museum of Graffiti’s Miami Art Week 2021 program, anchored by the debut of an immersive exhibition by French graffiti artist Fuzi. As one of the most robust and talked‑about Art Basel programs ever, I oversaw full‑scale event production and run‑of‑show, digital marketing (from landing‑page development to social content), on‑location asset creation with photographers and videographers, coordinating with sponsors, RSVP and guest management, PR contractor oversight, and evolving operational needs—from securing tattoo permits to overseeing a limited‑edition sneaker drop.
Public programming for urban art enthusiasts included a launch event with free tattoos by Fuzi, neighborhood mural hunt, Museum takeover with PUMA celebrating the history of breakdance culture with demos and competitions, and exclusive signings and panels with leading graffiti personalities including Martha Cooper, Cey Adams, Jules Muck, and ABSTRK.
VIP and artist programming included the Museum's anniversary party with celebrity performances, Majorwavez Sneaker Lab workshops, as well as off-site activations at two major Miami Beach hotels featuring a custom-built skate park and curated art gallery opening and a private artist dinner/mural unveiling. The program garnered more than 1.6B+ media impressions and tripled average paid Museum attendance over five days.

Epic Big Board Ride
As an Account Executive supporting Visit Florida and Visit Huntington Beach, I led media relations execution for the “Epic Big Board Ride” landmark event that solidified the destination’s “Surf City USA” identity: a Guinness World Record in which 66 surfers rode a 42‑foot, 1,300‑pound surfboard for 12 seconds. Designed by local experts and ridden by a mix of professional athletes and community members, the board now lives at the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum as a symbol of the city’s surf culture.
To maximize national visibility, I secured exclusive pre‑event feature stories, drafted and distributed video news alerts, and coordinated more than a dozen news crews on‑site for coverage across the United States. I managed celebrity and athlete interviews on-site—including pro surfer Brett Simpson—oversaw behind‑the‑scenes access, and drove post‑event publicity by establishing a dedicated newsroom with the Associated Press at our client’s offices. This integrated PR effort delivered widespread national media attention and reinforced Huntington Beach’s global surf identity.
The campaign earned the prestigious PR Best in Show Award at the 2016 HSMAI Adrian Awards and was featured on Good Morning America and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In total, it secured more than 2K print and digital stories, reached over 500 million television viewers, and delivered an ad‑value equivalent exceeding $9 million—transforming a regional travel moment into a coast‑to‑coast news phenomenon.
